This time we didn't just pop in to shop but also had a sit-down meal. The cappuccinos were great and the roosterkoek was delicious. As always we got some pineapple juice to take home.
Freshly squeezed pineapple juice, pies, roosterkoek and a proper breakfast on the R72 between Port Elizabeth and Port Alfred. The way road-trip stops used to be.
Oakly sits on the R72 coastal road, 18 km west of Alexandria, surrounded by pineapple country.
Stop for a cappuccino and roosterkoek, sit down for breakfast on the stoep, or stock up on home-made bread, jams, sauces, biltong and frozen meals for the holiday house.
There's a play area with swings for the kids and plenty of space to stretch your legs. And don't leave without a bottle of our pineapple juice.

Sit down for a meal or fill the cooler box for the road.

"The best padstal ever! With the best pies, and the absolute favourite is the freshly squeezed pineapple juice. A must stop!"Google review

The epitome of what one expects from a farm stall. From home-made bread, jams, sauces and juices to home trinkets and décor. This farm stall has it all.
What a delightful spot. So peaceful and quiet. It reminded me of how stops on road trips used to be.
On the R72 coastal road between Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) and Port Alfred, near Alexandria and Kenton-on-Sea.
